When Battlefield 6 launched I was ecstatic and easter to play that i couldn’t sleep the night before. Okay, just kidding, but I actually jumped into the game immediately and got obliterated by a jet in under 10 seconds.

Lots of changes have occurred with a solid battlefield replacing naval warfare and the large scale maps in the previous series. But one thing is certain, there is a bag of excitement waiting for you whether you’re an avid Battlefield player or you only play occasionally.

- Take Your Gadget Class Seriously

While many gamers just mash randomly, missing vital details and exposing themselves in the process, you can gain an upper hand when you utilize zone cameras when spawning. Wondering how?
Check those zone/body cams for red enemy dots and hot zones, you’ll find information that’ll help you outsmart other players and give you a few more seconds to find your way to safety.
The trick is to let the zone cameras guide your spawn so you can drop behind lines on a quiet flank or vehicle. This way you can avoid the almost instant-death trap many players face. Another POV you can utilize for intel is your teammates body-cams so you can flank smarter, live longer, and win tickets.
- Demolition Derby is Your Friend
Destruction is back in BF6 and only chaos fuels it. This is why demolition derby should be your friend in the game. Embrace the chaos because it pays out in the game. Blast those walls with grenade launchers or C4 whole buildings to rubble, it is all allowed.

- Train Your Aim Using Tame Recoil and Bloom
Recoil in BF6 can disrupt your gameplay if you do not master it. Even bloom easily scatters your aim especially when dumping mags in high intensity shootouts. So before you get started with the 18th edition in the series, you have to train your aim.
Thankfully this activity is easy and even fun. Simply slap vertical underbarrels to kill climb and burst 4-7 rounds. You need to set your pc to maximize this aim training by putting on its Uniform Infantry Aiming, Zoom Transition Smoothing off, Coeff at 0.
For the controller, Vertical Aim Ratio should be around 56% for fine control. Remember that War Tapes audio mix cranks footsteps so do well to reposition before peeks.
- Ping Everything
While the Recon class have advanced gadgets for pining, every class can and should be involved in target spotting in BF6 if they want to last long in the game. Pinging is unarguably the best way to talk to your team without voice chat.
To do this, press Q on PC, LB on Xbox, or L1 on PlayStation and then aim at enemies or vehicles to mark them. After which they will show as red icons on your team’s minimap and screens.
Don’t take anything for granted, ping everything from objects to objectives and spots on the ground. There’s just so much you can do with your ping. You can even ping your killer when you’re downed to help your teammates. But be careful, you want to ping not spam with unnecessary information.
